Clinical Lab Scientist

Part-time or full-time position available for licensed CLS. We’ve recently secured our CLIA license and are looking for a reliable and capable CLS to help set up and run testing. Mostly RT-PCR based work and immunology. Although experience is not required in either category, it is a plus.

Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Assist in preparation of reagents & standards as necessary. Be a primary CLS for qPCR/immunology work to produce clinical data.


  • Candidate must be LICENSED as a Clinical Bioanalyst, Clinical Laboratory Generalist, or Clinical Lab Scientist by the state of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a laboratory performing moderate or high complexity testing is a PREFERRED for selection of this position.

We offer a competitive salary and hours are negotiable, ~$40/hr.

Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a part-time warehouse associate for Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of an environmental testing laboratory while learning on the job.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Disposal of Water Samples.
  • Neutralize Acids.

    Project Manager

    MAI is currently seeking a full time Project Manager, for a 11am - 8pm shift, Monday through Friday, to add to our team.

    Primary responsibilities include, the ability to communicate with clients regarding project/report status, review analytical data from laboratory personnel, issue analytical reports and collaborate with clients & lab staff to actuate project specific goals. This position requires a keen sense of time management, organization and attention to detail.

    The ideal candidate will hold a four-year college degree in chemistry or other closely related science discipline; have a minimum of 5 years of laboratory experience ranging from laboratory bench work, method R&D, &/or project management skills and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team, have a strong work ethic and desire to learn. Strong knowledge of EPA, Standard Methods, NIOSH methodologies; state and federal environmental regulations and laboratory protocol is desirable

    Lab Technician/Extractionist

    We are seeking a full-time (40 hours/week), entry level Lab Technician/Extractionist to add to our team. Must be available to work Monday through Friday; 12-9pm. Weekend shift(s) in lieu weekday shifts may be available to the right candidate.

    The ideal candidate will possess a high school or equivalent degree, have a strong work ethic & the ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team. A scientific background is desired but not mandatory. The position requires good communication skills, an exceptional ability to effectively multi-task and excellent attention to details. Primary duties include: the preparation and extraction of environmental samples, predominantly soil, water samples, following laboratory SOPs; documentation of sample preparation; preparation of reagents; analytical standards; disposal of samples and other miscellaneous lab tasks. All training is provided.

    Starting pay rate of $15.00/hr and includes medical insurance, dental reimbursement plan, 401(k), paid vacation & annual merit-based bonuses and raises are typical.
