SVOC COMPOUNDS BY GC-MS
|
- Full GC-MS capabilities supported by 4 SVOC HP 5973 MSDs.
- Flexibility to set-up for new analytes, such as caffeine & methamphetamine.
- Standard as well as drinking water and NPDES / CTR / SIP analyte sensitivity.
- Routine SIM mode analysis for PNAs & phenols
- Ability to analyze for Geosmin & MIB to 5ppt or better sensitivity
- Drinking water, fresh & marine surface & ground water, effluent, storm water run off, waste water, soils, sludge, solids, petroleum liquids, plant & animal tissue, food, wine and other matrices can be tested.

| Target lists for SVOC compounds by GC-MS are complicated because EPA methods 525.2, 625 and 8270 have been set up as ‘catch-all’ methods. A large number of compounds are included in their formal target lists that are better analyzed by other methods offering enhanced sensitivity and / or superior chromatographic performance. These compounds are not customarily analyzed by GC-MS. |
